Soft Washing on Long Island

Green film on the north side of the house, black streaks on the roof, gray decks — Long Island humidity feeds it all. We use gentle soft washing: low pressure and the right detergents, so cedar, vinyl, brick and roofing come clean without the damage high-pressure blasting can do. As a standalone cleaning, or as prep before exterior painting.

Common Questions

What is soft washing, and why is it better than high pressure?

High-pressure washing can gouge wood, strip paint and force water behind siding. Soft washing uses low pressure and lets the detergents do the work — safe for siding, roofs and painted surfaces, with results that last longer.

Will washing hurt my plants or lawn?

No — we wet down and rinse landscaping before and after washing and apply products responsibly.

How often should I have my house washed?

Most Long Island homes look best washed every year or two. Shaded, north-facing walls and roofs under trees may need it a little more often.
